What is IV hydration?

Intravenous hydration is a medical procedure that directly delivers fluids to your body. A licensed medical professional will insert a small catheter into your vein which is then connected to a bag of solution. The solution contains saline with electrolytes and vitamins depending on your specific needs.

What is the benefit of IV hydration?

Intravenous delivery of saline, medications, and vitamins has a greater bioavailability than its oral counterparts. By bypassing the gut, you are receiving 100% of the nutrients and benefits that can be used rapidly by your body.

What is IV hydration used for?

IV hydration is especially helpful in the treatment of dehydration. Dehydration can be a common part of hangovers, headaches, fatigue, colds/flus, and stomach bugs. IV hydration can also be helpful in providing antioxidants, minerals, and vitamins to your body to maintain your overall wellness and health. It may also be used to enhance muscle recovery.

Can I customize a drip?

Is IV hydration safe?

Your safety and satisfaction is our number one priority! This is a medical procedure that does have potential risks. In order to provide the best service to our clients, we have trained our nurses to follow a protocol that is similar to what is done in an Emergency Room. Furthermore, our nurses are licensed Registered Nurses who have several years of experience working in hospitals. Our nurses are supervised by Board Certified Emergency Medicine doctors.

What are the potential risks of IV therapy?

IV hydration is a medical procedure where a needle is used to perform venipuncture and a catheter is placed in your vein. This process can sometimes result in pain or discomfort, bruising, infection, blood clots, nerve damage, air embolism, allergic reaction, and/or IV infiltration.

What are vitamins and minerals?

They are micronutrients that are needed by the body to function normally. They are not produced in the body, and are derived from the food we eat or supplements.

What are antioxidants?

They are substances, such as vitamin C, that can prevent or slow free radical damage to cells.

What is NAD+?

NAD+ is a coenzyme that is found in our cells that helps with repairing and protecting DNA, gene expression, extracting cellular energy from nutrition, maintaining mitochondrial function, and much more to protect our bodies from aging and disease. As we get older, NAD levels decrease naturally. IV NAD+ supplementation is an efficient way to replenish your NAD+ levels.

What are the benefits of NAD+ therapy?

Studies have shown that replenishing NAD+ levels can have potential benefits of slowing cognitive decline and promoting healthy brain function, fighting fatigue, boosting metabolism and energy levels, slowing aging, and reducing inflammation.

Is NAD+ safe?

NAD is considered a dietary supplement. The FDA does not currently evaluate dietary supplements in their current regulations. However, NAD is well-tolerated, meaning that there are rarely side effects.

How long is a treatment?

Your session may last between 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on the person. NAD+ drips can take 3-4 hours.
